About Anne-Mieke Bovelett
Anne-Mieke Bovelett is a passionate multilingual accessibility & possibility advocate from Germany. She was born in 1971 in The Netherlands in a long lineage of visual artists, sculptors, musicians and nutty professors. Where her commercial genes come from is still a mystery.
She built her first website in 1998 and freelanced on the side for years. In 2008, she took the plunge as a full time entrepreneur. Favorite words in talks with peers and customers are conversion, usability, and customer experience. Both in- and outside the WordPress community, she raises awareness about profitable inclusive design and content.
