This presentation will be all about webforms. Forms are the most common and important interactive element on a website, the way you communicate with your visitor, so form accessibility is crucial. Everybody should be able to fill out a form.
Morgan and Rian will talk not only about the WCAG standards and validating HTML, but also about handling errors, form usability, design and best practices.
Because there’s more to creating accessible forms than just writing code that meets the standards! Not only is it important to create visual designs that are accessible, but also to think about your users and to make it as easy as possible for them to understand and complete your form.
Since most WordPress users don’t write HTML from scratch, we will demonstrate how to build accessible forms with Gravity Forms, and provide examples of how Gravity Forms has implemented accessibility.
